Sung W. Choi, M.D., practices consultative and interventional cardiology full time at the UCSF Golden Gate Practice at Daniel Burham Court in San Francisco, CA. He is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Cardiology at UCSF. He earned his B.A. degree cum laude from Dartmouth College and his M.D. degree at the University of Virginia. He completed his medical internship, residency, chief residency, cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at Tuft-New England Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Interests

Dr. Sung W. Choi practices general and interventional cardiology. He is particularly interested in developing personal relationships with patients to reduce their risk of future cardiovascular events. He is interested in the relationship of exercise and cardiovascular health. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Choi also is interested in optimizing patient outcomes by identifying opportunities for improvement and accurately measuring physician performance.
