Dr. Rajni Rao is a Bay Area native who earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her internship in internal medicine from the Massachusetts General Hospital and her residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She stayed on to complete her cardiology fellowship, chief cardiology fellowship, and echocardiography fellowship from the University of California, San Francisco. She has clinical interests in echocardiography, general cardiology, women's health, and adult congenital heart disease. Her research interests are in the echocardiographic assessment of right ventricular function and heart failure. Dr. Rao also enjoys teaching medical students and residents.
