Physician and Nurse Consultation
Most patients are referred to us by their personal physician. Upon referral, our Electrophysiology Office will contact you to schedule a appointment for consultation with one of our physicians. Or if you wish to contact us directly, please call UCSF's Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Clinic at (415) 353-2554 to schedule an appointment with one of our physicians:

Dr. Nitish Badhwar
Dr. Byron Lee
Dr. Randall Lee
Dr Jeffrey Olgin
Dr. Melvin Scheinman
Dr. Zian H. Tseng

On your first appointment, please bring any medical records or lab results that your personal physician asks you to bring for this consultation. Make sure your referring doctor has sent copies of any cardiac studies you might have had, and EKG’s (12 lead EKG's, 24 hour Holters, event recordings) of your arrhythmia (if available) to us at UCSF. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to facilitate check-in. Please be sure to bring your insurance information with you. During this consultation, our physicians and our Electrophysiology Arrhythmia Nurse will thoroughly cover your arrhythmia, treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have. Please allow 1 to 2 hours for this appointment.

For our long distance patients that cannot come for consultation, our Electrophysiology Arrhythmia Nurse Coordinator, Marilynn Namekawa Wong, R.N., B.S.N., will contact you and discuss the treatment plan that was discussed and agreed upon by our physicians and your personal physician, and to schedule your procedure date. If you wish to contact her directly, please call her (415)476-9194.
