| Upon joining our Unit in 1993,
Office Manager Nancy Campanile brought with her 20 years experience in
the medical field, 15 of which were in cardiology. As well as overseeing
the daily functions and operations of our office, she manages
our data processing and information systems and billing functions of
our office. In
addition, Nancy is a AAPC Certified Professional Coder. For her hard
work and dedication to our Electrophysiology Service, Nancy has received
the Department of Medicine's "Outstanding
Performance Award" in June 1997, June 2001, and June 2004. For fun
and relaxation, Nancy and her black Labrador Retriever Tucker are active
members of the SF SPCA Animal Assisted Therapy volunteers and the Peninsula
Pet Assisted Therapy volunteers. Nancy says that working in Animal Assisted
Therapy gives a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives
of others by bringing Tucker to
visit people in health care institutions who cannot normally share the
love of animals. |
