H. Tseng, M.D. brings expertise in risk stratification of
patients prone to sudden death and ventricular arrhythmias. He is
expert in all aspects of electrophysiology including ablation of
complex arrhythmias, implantation of devices, device treatment of
heart failure (resynchronization) and lead extraction. His current
area of research interest is in identification of genetic risk factors
for sudden cardiac death and risk factor modification.
Tseng, a Bay Area native, graduated in 1998 from the UCSF School of Medicine,
where he also completed a year of graduate studies in biomedical sciences.
He subsequently completed his internal medicine, cardiology and electrophysiology
training at UCSF, where
