Dr. Yerem Yeghiazarians is Co-Director of the Adult Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Director of the Peripheral Interventional Cardiology Program and Director of the UCSF Translational Cardiac Stem Cell Program. He is an expert in managing patients with coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, patent foramen ovale and peripheral arterial diseases.

Dr. Yeghiazarians earned an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and a medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, where he served as chief medical resident and instructor in medicine. He also completed general and interventional adult cardiology training at Brigham and Women's Hospital. At UCSF, he is an assistant professor of cardiology.
